What is cPanel Premium for WHMCS?

What WHMCS versions are supported?
cPanel Premium supports WHMCS 8.0 and higher.
What PHP version is required?
PHP 7.4 or higher is required.
Does it work with all cPanel versions?
Yes, cPanel Premium works with cPanel/WHM version 80 and higher.
Is Softaculous required?
No, Softaculous is optional. However, the software installation features (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) require Softaculous to be installed on your server.
Licensing
How does licensing work?
cPanel Premium requires a valid license. One license covers one WHMCS installation (including development/staging environments on the same domain).
Can I use it on multiple WHMCS installations?
Each WHMCS installation requires a separate license.
Is there a trial version?

Installation
Where do I upload the files?
Upload to /path/to/whmcs/modules/servers/cpanel_extended/
The module doesn't appear in WHMCS
- Verify folder name is exactly
cpanel_extended - Check file permissions (755 for folders, 644 for files)
- Clear WHMCS cache
- Check PHP error logs
API connection fails
- Verify WHM API token is correct
- Ensure port 2087 is open
- Check firewall allows your WHMCS server IP
- Verify SSL certificate is valid
Features
Why can't customers see certain features?
Feature availability depends on:
- cPanel package limits
- Server configuration
- Account type (User vs Reseller)
File uploads fail for large files
Large files (>50MB) should use the "Upload Large Files (via cPanel)" button which opens the native cPanel uploader.
Email accounts not showing
- Verify email feature is enabled in cPanel package
- Check disk quota isn't exceeded
- Verify domain is properly configured
Databases not appearing
- Check database limit in cPanel package
- Verify MySQL is running on server
- Check username prefix settings
Reseller Accounts
How do reseller accounts work?
Reseller accounts get access to WHM features and can create/manage their own cPanel accounts.
Can resellers access client accounts?
Yes, resellers can manage accounts they've created through the WHMCS interface.
What ACL should resellers have?
Create a custom ACL with only the features you want resellers to access. At minimum:
- create-acct
- suspend-acct
- list-accts
- passwd
Troubleshooting
"Service ID required" error
This usually occurs when the session has expired. Refresh the page and try again.
Slow loading times
- Check server response times
- Verify no firewall rate limiting
- Check PHP memory limits
SSO (Single Sign-On) not working
- Verify API token has session creation permissions
- Check server hostname resolves correctly
- Verify SSL certificate matches hostname
Changes not saving
- Check PHP error logs
- Verify API permissions
- Check disk quota on server
