Reseller Features

cPanel Premium provides full support for reseller accounts with WHM access.

Overview

Reseller accounts have access to:

• WHM (Web Host Manager) for account management
• Create and manage cPanel accounts
• Custom hosting packages
• Resource allocation and limits

Reseller Dashboard

When a reseller logs into their WHMCS client area, they see:

• Account Statistics - Total accounts, disk usage, bandwidth
• Quick Actions - Create account, access WHM
• Client Accounts - List of accounts they've created
• Resource Usage - Overselling status, limits

WHM Access

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Click Login to WHM for automatic authentication to WHM.

No need to remember separate credentials - the reseller is automatically logged in.

• Package creation
• DNS management
• Email routing
• SSL installation
• Backup management

Managing Client Accounts

View Client Accounts

1. Go to Reseller section
2. View list of all accounts created
3. See status, disk usage, bandwidth for each

Create New Account

1. Click Create Account
2. Fill in details:
   • Domain name
   • Username
   • Password
   • Email
   • Package
3. Click Create

Suspend Account

1. Find account in list
2. Click Suspend
3. Enter reason (optional)
4. Account is immediately suspended

Unsuspend Account

1. Find suspended account
2. Click Unsuspend
3. Account is restored

Terminate Account

1. Find account in list
2. Click Terminate
3. Confirm deletion

Terminating an account permanently deletes all data!

Change Password

1. Find account
2. Click Change Password
3. Enter new password
4. Click Save

Modify Package

1. Find account
2. Click Change Package
3. Select new package
4. Click Save

Package Management

Create Package

1. Go to Packages tab
2. Click Create Package
3. Configure limits:
   • Disk quota
   • Bandwidth
   • Max email accounts
   • Max databases
   • Max FTP accounts
   • Max subdomains
   • Max parked domains
   • Max addon domains
4. Click Create

Edit Package

1. Find package in list
2. Click Edit
3. Modify limits
4. Click Save

Delete Package

1. Find package (must have no accounts)
2. Click Delete
3. Confirm deletion

Resource Limits

View Limits

See your reseller resource allocation:

• Total disk space
• Total bandwidth
• Maximum accounts
• Overselling status

Overselling

If overselling is enabled:

• You can allocate more resources than you have
• Based on the assumption not all accounts use full limits
• Monitor usage to avoid over-allocation

DNS Management

Create DNS Zone

For accounts under your reseller:

1. Go to DNS tab
2. Click Create Zone
3. Enter domain
4. Configure records

Manage Client DNS

Edit DNS records for any client account you manage.

Nameservers

Configure Nameservers

Set custom nameservers for your reseller:

1. Go to Nameservers tab
2. Enter nameserver hostnames
3. Enter nameserver IPs
4. Click Save

Clients will see your nameservers when they sign up.

Branding

Custom Branding in WHM

Configure your brand:

• Company name
• Logo
• Contact information
• Support URL

Clients see your branding in cPanel.

Statistics

Reseller Statistics

View comprehensive statistics:

• Total accounts
• Active vs suspended
• Disk usage trends
• Bandwidth usage trends
• Top resource users

Generate Reports

Export reports for:

• Account list
• Resource usage
• Bandwidth consumption
